The first step to a curbless shower. A bracket system designed to provide the necessary depth to install a true, zero-entry curbless shower on a wood subfloor.

• Kits are available for point or linear drain and shower pan installations
• Metal brackets for lowering plywood floors to create a curb less shower
• Rapid Recess does not interfere with plumbing or other obstacles between the joists
• Floor height within the shower area is recessed 11/16 inch
• Suitable for 25 square feet or less - recommended sizes are 5' x 5' or 4' x 6'
• No framing ledger boards or cross-bracing needed
• Kits for any kind, width or orientation of floor joists (joists parallel or perpendicular to shower entry)
• Complies fully with ICC standards and codes
• All RR kits and accessories have undergone thorough testing and passed Robinson Test C627 for floor assemblies
• Rapid Recess brackets are made of sturdy 16 gauge galvanized steel
• Model RR25SF is for point drain installations
• Model RR25LDK is for linear drain at the back wall installations
• Model RR6ELDK is for linear drain at the shower entry installations
• Model RR6ELDK is designed for linear drain installations when the drain cannot be installed at the back wall or if a drain at the entry is desired
• Compatible with all wood construction conditions including standard lumber, I-joists and trusses with 3/4" plywood subfloor.

Linear Drain Kit (RR25LDK) Includes

• M bracket—47 3/8" long main bracket fastened to the top of floor joists (x8)
• Z bracket—5" long side bracket used for wall to recess and main floor to recess transitions (x22)
• ML bracket—47 3/8" long main bracket fastened to the top of last floor joist (x2)
• ZL bracket—5" long side bracket used for wall to recess (x8)
• #10 2 3/4" wood to metal self-drilling screws with wings (x40)
• #10 1 5/8" wood to metal self-drilling screws with wings (2 packages of 80 pieces)
