Diamond Cup Wheels for Concrete and Masonry Grinding

A cup wheel handles what a full-size floor grinder can't reach: edges, tight corners, small repairs, and quick touch-up work. It mounts to an angle grinder, so it trades coverage for maneuverability.

Segment pattern is what separates one wheel from another. A single row wheel bites hard and clears material fast. A double row wheel spreads that same contact across more segments, trading some speed for a smoother, more controlled cut. PCD wheels break from both. Instead of standard diamond segments, they use polycrystalline diamond built specifically for mastic, paint, and coatings. Materials that would glaze over an ordinary segment in seconds.

Pearl Abrasive and BIHUI supply most of what's stocked here. Core Cut fills in turbo and standard segment wheels across both row types. CS Unitec, MK Diamond, and Piranha Abrasives handle the rest, mostly specialty and coating removal wheels.

The real question isn't which brand to buy. It's what's actually on the surface. Bare concrete wants a standard diamond segment, single row for speed or double row for finer control. Anything coated, painted, or covered in adhesive wants a PCD wheel instead. Put a standard segment on coated concrete and it clogs before it ever reaches the slab underneath.
