Replacement Batteries and Chargers for Cordless Equipment

A battery has to match the platform it's going into, not just the brand on the tool. Greenworks 82V batteries only work with Greenworks 82V tools, Husqvarna's BLi series only works with Husqvarna's own battery platform, and the same holds across every brand here. Buying a spare or replacement battery means matching voltage and platform first, capacity second.

Amp-hour rating is what actually determines runtime once the platform is settled. A higher Ah battery runs longer between charges but weighs more and costs more, while a lower Ah battery keeps the tool lighter for shorter tasks or quick jobs. Backpack batteries solve a different problem, moving the battery's weight off the tool itself and onto the operator's back, which matters most on higher-draw tools like trimmers or blowers that would otherwise feel front heavy for hours at a time.

Chargers matter as much as the batteries themselves on a crew running multiple tools. A single-port charger works fine for one battery at a time, but multi-port and rapid chargers keep several batteries cycling through a charge without waiting in line, which keeps a crew moving instead of stopping to wait on power.

Greenworks covers the widest range here, spanning standard batteries, backpack batteries, and its Optimus commercial power system. Husqvarna adds batteries and backpack power packs of its own. ECHO and Dewalt round out chargers and batteries for their respective platforms, and Makinex supplies a portable power box for larger power needs on site.
