Air Filtration and Air Scrubbers for Job Site Dust Control

The machines on this page can do two different jobs depending on how it's set up. Ducted to the outside of a containment area, it works as a negative air machine, pulling air out of the space to keep dust and contaminants from spreading past the barrier. Run without outside ducting, that same unit becomes an air scrubber, pulling air through its filters and recirculating it clean back into the room. Both approaches matter most on renovation, demolition, and remediation work where controlling what leaves a work area is as important as controlling what's inside it.

Filter stages do most of the actual work. A pre-filter catches larger dust and debris before it can clog the finer filtering behind it, extending the life of the more expensive stage. A HEPA filter handles the fine particulate that a pre-filter alone would let through, which matters most on silica dust, mold spores, and other fine contaminants that pose a real health risk if they're not captured. Dehumidifiers solve a related but separate problem, pulling excess moisture out of the air on jobs where humidity threatens materials or finishes rather than airborne dust.
