- We ship via FedEx, UPS, USPS, and T-Force Freight from our warehouse locations.

- The day of order processing does not count as a day in transit.
- Shipping time is calculated in business days. Weekends do not count.
- Expedited air services are available. Contact us to confirm availability and pricing.
Shipping Special Requests
Customers may leave a comment at checkout to communicate special shipping requests. Comments are relayed to our fulfillment team but cannot be guaranteed.
Factory-Direct Shipments
Factory-direct items ship from the manufacturer rather than our warehouse. Lead times and availability may differ from stock items.
- Lead times vary depending on availability, ship-from location, and delivery address. Contact us or call 1-800-709-0002 to confirm lead times before ordering.
- "Free Shipping" items ship for free to anywhere in the contiguous United States. Some restrictions apply.
- Shipping options for customers outside the lower 48 states (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Canada, Europe, etc.) are limited. Use the shipping estimator at checkout or email us for a quote.
- Shipping time is calculated in business days. Weekends do not count.
Proof of Delivery
Contractors Direct and its shipping partners do not require a signature upon delivery unless otherwise requested by the customer.
If signature confirmation is requested, Contractors Direct will charge the customer the additional cost of that service. To request signature confirmation, contact us before your order ships.
Shipping Price & Free Shipping
Free shipping offers are subject to carrier reach and availability. The following situations may result in a shipping charge even on orders marked "Free Shipping":
- Orders shipping to rural locations or areas outside a carrier's standard service area.
- Orders shipping to islands within the contiguous United States.
- Oversized items where carrier surcharges apply.
- Drop-ship orders where additional fees are outside Contractors Direct's control — customers will be notified prior to shipment.
Freight Deliveries
Some large or heavy items must ship via freight truck. Please review the requirements below before placing a freight order.
Delivery Requirements
- Freight deliveries require a commercially zoned address with truck access and either a loading dock or forklift on site.
- Liftgate service is available for an additional fee for locations without a loading dock. Restrictions may apply — contact us to arrange before ordering.
Damaged Freight
Freight Delays
Once a freight shipment is picked up, Contractors Direct is dependent on the freight carrier for on-time delivery and cannot be held responsible for unforeseen delays. We will advocate on your behalf with the carrier to resolve any delay as quickly as possible.
Free Freight Exceptions
- Free freight offers may be modified or canceled for shipments to rural locations outside a carrier's standard service area.
- This includes islands within the contiguous United States.
- In these cases, Contractors Direct will provide real-time shipping rate options before the order is processed.
- Oversized items marked as free shipping are subject to change based on carrier surcharges.

International Orders
Contractors Direct ships many items internationally via FedEx for small packages. Items shipped via tractor-trailer internationally require a freight forwarder of the customer's choosing.
- International orders require additional handling to ensure accurate processing.
- We must confirm the following before processing: written request for all desired items, verified payment method, domestic delivery address and export documents, and the ultimate delivery address.
- Providing inaccurate or incomplete information may result in delays and additional fees for which Contractors Direct will not be held liable.
- Shipping costs on international orders are non-refundable.
- International orders do not qualify for free shipping. A shipping invoice will be sent for approval before the item ships.
- Contractors Direct does not partner with or provide referrals for any specific freight forwarding service.
