Useless

This vacuum is useless for the intended purpose. It absolutely does NOT contain silica dust. The seal of the canister routinely leaks clay dust and the floor attachment is clumsy and doesn’t create a seal to prevent the silica from escaping. The “self cleaning” feature that is supposed to shake the dust from the filters makes a lot of noise, but it in no way removes the dust from the filters.
The floor and hose attachments also do not seal, meaning that any dust you’ve vacuumed up has multiple avenues to escape the system. It is the single worst investment I’ve ever made. Expensive and completely ineffective, and Unitec has zero customer service.
