It is not recommended as the hydroponic radiant heat will be a better heat source than the strataheat system.

Do you skim off with mortar (fill holes) and let dry prior to tile Installation ?

You will have to skim off with the mortar but you do not have to let it dry before you install the tile.

Can laticrete strata mat be installed over plywood subfloor?

Yes, Strata Mat can be installed over exterior glue plywood.

A nice feature is that when installed properly it changes color and this ensures that you have good adhesion. Instructions were easy to understand. A great value compared to higher priced competitors. The only struggle was installing tile spacers in the square depression.
