Mixed according to directions. Minus 10% sand since 1/16”grout lines on shower wall. Grout would literally fall off the wall. Nightmare. Either something was wrong with the batch I got or it’s crap.

Perfect Size

Easy to use. Mini more than enough for 20 sq ft with 1/16” spacing. Could probably have done 40 sq ft. Product looks great when complete.

What are people afraid of epoxy grout?

I was very reluctant to use epoxy grout after reading various online forums, and decided to give this small amount a try on a small floor i installed. Without hesitation i will say it was the easiest grout job i have ever done, with absolutely the best results. Wow. I will never use anything else from this point forward.

So glad we used this grout in our shower pan with the penny tile we choose. It has really made a difference.

How much do I need to add a thicker layer of grout to a shower pan where the same touch grout was applied in too thin of a layer? It hurts to stand on the penny tile.

If the grout was applied too thin and is causing discomfort on the penny tile shower floor, additional grout may be able to be applied. However, because Laticrete SpectraLOCK PRO Premium is an epoxy grout, it does not bond well to fully cured epoxy without proper surface preparation. In many cases, the existing grout must be mechanically removed or roughed up to create sufficient depth and texture for proper adhesion before re-grouting.

Simply applying a thin layer over cured epoxy may not provide a long-term solution, as epoxy does not chemically fuse to itself once cured.
