The Schluter FRS Recess Kit floor recessing system simplifies curbless shower installations for the Schluter-Shower System, creating a complete and fully waterproof assembly for dependable curbless shower installations. KERDI-SHOWER-FRS is a pre-engineered galvanized steel bracket system that allows installers to recess the subfloor without modifying joists or installing ledger boards.

• Designed for both dimensional lumber and I-joists, the top-mounted galvanized steel brackets secure to the joists and the surrounding subfloor perimeter to support recessed subfloor panels, providing a stable base that maintains structural integrity and minimizes conflicts with plumbing, HVAC, and electrical
• Designed for curbless shower installations using KERDI-DRAIN point drains
• No modifications to the joists maintain structural integrity
• Brackets can be fastened directly to the top of joists so ledger boards are not necessary
• It's compatible with I-joists and dimensional lumber spaced up to 19.2" (488 mm) o.c.
