Schluter-KERDI-LINE Brushed Stainless Steel Linear Grate Kit
The standard grate assembly for the Kerdi-Line Linear drain system. A low profile linear shower drain specifically designed for bonded waterproofing assemblies that can be installed adjacent to walls or at intermediate locations.
Features
- The grate assembly consists of a stainless steel frame that can be seamlessly adjusted to the thickness of the ceramic tile or stone covering – 1/8" to 1" (3 mm to 25 mm) for standard grate assemblies and a stainless steel grate that is placed within the frame
- The standard Kerdi-Line grate is available in two options: Solid or Square perforated
- Available in lengths ranging from 19-11/16" (50 cm) to 70-13/16" (180 cm)
- If the tile being installed is 1/8" - 9/16" thick, select the 3/4" frame height option
- If the tile being installed is 1/2" - 1" thick, select the 1-1/8" frame height option
- Requires no special maintenance and is resistant to mold and fungi
- Thin, discreet frame
- Adjustable to fit all common tile thicknesses
- The grate may be removed to clean the drain housing and the drain pipes
- Channel body is sold separately
Common Questions
How far from the wall is the KERDI-LINE linear drain installed?
It is installed directly against the wall, so that the channel body support is in contact with the wall. The drain outlet is approximately 2 1/8" o.c. from the edge of the wall board.
Can I use another manufacturer’s drain with your Schluter-Shower System?
The Schluter-KERDI-LINE drains are specifically designed to integrate with the Schluter-Shower System. The Schluter-Shower System 10-Year Limited Warranty is void if other drains are used.
Is the Schluter Shower System waterproof?
The Schluter-Shower System is an integrated family of products that together form a fully bonded, watertight assembly for tiled showers. Unlike shower pan liners in conventional assemblies, bonded waterproof membranes, such as Schluter-KERDI, bond directly to the mortar bed and protect it from becoming saturated with regular use.
