Schluter DITRA-PS brings the benefits of the original DITRA membrane; the multi-tasking underlayment that provides uncoupling, load distribution, waterproofing, and vapor management for durable tile installations; to a convenient peel and stick format.

Features

• Pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) which bonds the membrane to the substrate, eliminating the need for thin-set mortar

• 110sqft roll dimensions: 3'2-3/4" X 34'3/4" = 110 SF

How To Use

Please note: All substrates must be clean, even, and load bearing. Bond inhibiting surfaces must be removed prior to the application of DITRA-PS. For complete installation guidelines and warranty criteria, please refer to the Schluter-DITRA Installation Handbook

• Simply remove the transparent release film from the PS membrane to expose the layer of adhesive, and embed it into the substrate
• Apply peel and stick membrane to the floor, fleece/adhesive side down. Solidly embed the matting into the substrate using a float, screed trowel, or DITRA-ROLLER
• Abut adjacent sheets and align the studs on the top of the matting to make subsequent heating cable installation easier
• No thin-set required to install membrane means a faster and easier installation
• The membrane can easily be repositioned until pressure is exerted
• If the application area requires a membrane that meets or exceeds the requirements of ANSI A118.10, please refer to thin-set versions of DITRA

Maintenance

Storage: DITRA-PS features a UV sensitive pressure-sensitive adhesive that should not be stored in places with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. The PSA is also temperature sensitive and should be stored in a frost-free environment 41 - 86 °F (5 - 30 °C). If product is exposed to conditions outside of recommended temperature range, product shall be re-acclimated to range for a minimum of 24 hours. The PSA is not water soluble and is free of solvents.
