Roberts First Step Encapsulator
The Roberts First Step Encapsulator is a high-strength acrylic polymer compound formulated to isolate and encapsulate adhesive residues.
Features
- Comes in a 4-gallon container
- Isolates old multipurpose, pressure-sensitive, acrylic-based, and cutback adhesive residues for proper bonding
- Designed for porous substrates to enhance new adhesive bonding
- Approved for use over concrete (on or above grade), old cutback residue, pressure-sensitive adhesive residue, carpet adhesive residue, acrylic-based residue, radiant heated concrete subfloors (≤ 85°F surface temperature), APA-approved plywood, and APA-approved OSB
- Minimum dry time: 4 hours or until fully hardened to the touch
- VOC content: 0 g/L
- Moisture tolerance: up to 90% RH and 10 lbs. MVER
- Coverage: approximately 315–360 sq. ft. per gallon
- Shelf life: 2 years
