Yes, the 125P3 can cut up to 49 inch length-wise but it will only be able to cut a 34.5 inch tile diagonally.

Can you cut a non-smooth surfaced tile with this cutter? The tile I have to cut has a slight wave surface. It’s a 4"x 12" tile and I’ll have to cut off one end at a 45 in order to start a herringbone pattern.

We would recommend the 29 inch tile cutter because that will allow you to cut a 12" x 24" tile diagonally. With the 29 inch cutter, you can cut all angles without a problem, which will give you the most versatility on the job.

doing a large job with 3/4" thick large format "everblue" exterior porcelain tiles. anyone used this cutter for something that thick with success?

This cutter can cut materials from 1/4"-1" so it can cut tiles at that thickness

25% of the time it breaks the tile. Cuts crooked all the time. Make sure you Order 25% more tile for your cuts.. I Hate this cutter. I tried new wheels did not work. Watched EVERY video. I have been doing tile for 18 yrs. I went back to my TRUSTEE wet saw.

Great for Porcelain tiles

The p3 worked out really well for me. I bought the 24 inch one to cut 12x24 porcelain tiles and it performed like a champ. I’m a do it yourselfer and was glad I spent the extra money on something professional. This made remodeling my bathroom easy.

Tried to cut a 12 x 24 hard porcelain but it did not score the tile very well and i had to score it 2-3times before it would snap clean. One item I noticed is the caps for extra blades and other caps on the spring loaded table are black and every picture or video I have watched the montolit all have blue caps? Just wondering why that is?

Regret waiting so long.

I love my cutter. I purchased the 29 inche version because so many of my customers started using 12 x 24 inch tile and 6 x 24 inch tile. I should have gotten years ago. It saves so much time. It cuts square and clean. It is so great. It is bulky and takes some room to use. Working in the confines of a small bathroom or shower can be cumbersome. But the cutter is so great my solution was to get a smaller one to use next to me. Then use my big one in another area for long rips. I have no regrets, and it cuts so much better than my old box store cutter. They will cut a much more narrow rip without the need fornthe water saw.

Repurposed pull arm design.

This review is for 24” cutter. The machine cuts and brakes very well. The movable measuring arm is useless if you are right handed. Let’s say your cut is 22”. If you standing on the left side, you have to lean over the machine just to see the numbers. The 22” part of the tile is not supported enough. In my tryout the tile broke before I finished scoring, so I end up holding the bigger cut in my left hand and using the tape for measuring. I think Montolit would be better off making the arm much shorter or moving it to the left. In the current configuration it’s a useless piece of metal easy to bend in your truck.

Sweet mother of!!! Dudes - this is amazing. Like, where’s the infinity stone? It must be in the handle. I-bet-it-fell-from-Asgard kinda good. Hephaestus is gonna come looking for this cause it’s missing from his workshop. Aliens left it behind after they finished the pyramids - yeah that’s it… But seriously - this is worth every teeny penny. It cuts hard porcelain clean as a whistle - 24” rips 1” wide, all day long. No joke. It paid for itself in one job by keeping my helper off the wet saw. Saved us hours over the week. Lots of hours. I know it’s a ton of money, and lots of stuff will crack a tile (more or less) but if you wanna really step it up and get a legit, 1000% pro tool, these are for you.
