How do you change the blade and keep it from turning when tightening the nut?

To replace the blade, proceed as follows-- Block axial movement of the cutting head by means of the handwheels. Disassemble the front guard. Loosen the locknut by rotating clockwise left thread, using a 19 mm wrench. Move the cutting head forward slightly and incline to remove the blade from its seat. Ensure that there are no foreign objects between the fixing flange and diamond blade. During disassembly, avoid use of tools that could dent or deform the flange. Insert the new blade proceeding in reverse order of the operation described at point 4. Take special care to ensure correct direction ofrotation of the diamond blade. Tighten the blade locknut fully down by rotating anticlockwise left thread, to a torque of 40 Nm.

Not impressed

Weight is the reason i bought this small bridge however it comes at a cost. The majority of its parts are all plastic, like the handle and motor assemblies as well as the blade guard which is flimsy and just doesn't represent quality like you would expect from Imer. If i wasn't so curious to see how well it cut i would have sent it back upon delivery. If you are a fan of bridge saws please spend the extra money and sacrifice the 25 lb weight savings and buy a quality built saw one with more aluminum and stainless steel in its construction.

The Best For The Buck

As a tile setting professional for over 15 years I willl tell you these are the best saws you can buy. I own the combi 250 and the combi 200 and can tell you after using just about every saw on the market from imers competetors to the ''Big Box'' store brands these are the best .My only complaint is the Blades that came with both saws really suck and imer should just not include them with such a fine piece of equipment.

Great Product

I first used the product for 18" tile. It worked great. This is probably the best saw in it's class that can cut as large of tile that I need it to. Also with the plunge feature I didn't need to pull out my grinder once. The only problem I have with the saw is the blade. Although it comes free it, it was sub par. The blade will get you through for a while but it kinda sucks knowing I'll have to pay $150 for a good diamond blade. Anyway that should be expected and I did expect it. Overall this is an excellent saw.
