  • Because the blade is round, you can cut in any direction
  • The 360-degree diamond coating allows the blade to cut quickly while grinding the edge, leaving it smooth
  • All blades cut the same materials: glass, tile, stone, shell, nonferrous metals, hard plastics such as acrylic and lexan, and anything that has a similar density to these materials
  • These blades are designed for wet cutting only
  • Blade kit comes with one blade, three yellow groove grommets, four red gear grommets, and two hole reducers


How to Use

  • Always let the blade do the cutting
  • Forcing the blade through the material in a hurry will not only cause a slower cut but can also shorten the blade's life
  • There is an optimum speed for each blade in each material; you can feel it while you are cutting
  • Sensitivity to this causes exceptionally long blade life at that point at which you get maximum cutting speed for minimal pressure

I have a Gemini Taurus II.2. Can you use the solid 5.75 ring from the Taurus 3?

Gemini Saw Company is the manufacturer of both the Taurus II.2 and Taurus 3 ring saws. While the two models use similar blade styles and diameters, Gemini lists model-specific blade kits and part numbers for each saw. Because of this, we cannot definitively confirm that a solid 5.75" ring blade packaged for the Taurus 3 is officially approved for use on a Taurus II.2.

In general practice, blades of the same diameter may appear interchangeable, but differences in grommets, mounting components, or tolerances can affect fit and performance. To avoid any risk, we recommend using blades specifically designated for the Taurus II.2 unless Gemini confirms otherwise.
