What is the warranty policy on the Gemini Revolution XT Curve Cutting Saw?

Gemini Saw Company, Inc warrants the Gemini Revolution XT Curve Cutting Saw and all of its component parts to be free of defects in materials or workmanship. All of these components except wear parts* are under warranty for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Note-- Wear Parts include Blades, Bearings, Drive Belt, and Grommets.

How can diamond blades cut hard materials but do not cut skin?

Skin bounces off of the diamonds riding over the bumps, but hard materials can not bounce so they get cut.

What does the Ring Saw cut?

The Ring Saw will cut any hard material including stone, granite, marble, glass, shell, non ferrous metals, acrylic, and plexiglass.

A Ring Saw is a unique, patented saw, combining the best qualities of a band saw and radial saw.

Where is the water pump?

There is no pump with a ring saw. Because the belt that drives the blade also picks up and delivers water to the cut, there is no need for one.

Does the sliding tray come with the Saw?

The sliding tray is sold separately from the saw and can be found here.

1. It appears that there is a large working surface but I am not able to determine how much length there is before the piece is obstructed by the saw head. I own Tauras 3 and my complaint is that I am always having to back up in the middle of a cut. Does this saw have a similar problem? 2. Is the throat deep enough to saw a wine bottle? Is it adjustable? 3. Is the speed adjustable?

Both the Apollo and Revolution have stabilizing arms that may get in the way when cutting a wine bottle on its longest axis. Depending on the diameter of the bottles, you may have similar restraints that you encountered with the Taurus. The stabilizer is removable, but it is not recommended to operate the saw without the top stabilizer.The blade speed is not adjustable.

The Revolution blades are very similar to the solid 10" diameter blades you will find on most wet saws. The difference is that our blades have no center, giving you the ability to cut straight lines and make tight radius cuts. Because we run our blades at a much slower R.P.M. than the average wet saw but with far more torque, they give the user a much higher quality cut with far less chipping and in some cases superior blade life.

I bought the Revolution XT back in 2010,I believe. An incredible tool for sure !

If you’re looking for a tool for intricate tile/rock cutting. This is the machine !
I’ve cut hundreds of stones with this saw. As I’ve already mentioned. I bought this back in 2009-2010 and it’s still going.

So the Revolution and the Apollo aren't for production /heavy use. What saw would be good for this?

That's correct. The Gemini line of saws is designed for more intricate curve cutting for decorative pieces. For intensive tile cutting, we recommend a 10" tile saw with a sliding tray and a continuous rim diamond blade (non-ring saw blade).

What is the difference between a Ring Saw and a reciprocating saw?

Ring Saws cut while spinning in a perfect circle, so there is little or no vibration while cutting. Jig saws vibrate cut on the up stroke causing delicate pieces to break and wear out much more quickly than Ring Saws.

What is the difference between a Ring Saw and a band saw?

Ring Saw's spin in a perfect circle and cut in all directions. Band saws travel in an ellipse, can cut basically forward like a polliwog travels.
