When I opened my bucket, it was not filled all the way. Was this product used before?

The worst grout I ever worked with!

Not a good option

I’m doing tile 8 years. And for this period I did any kind of grout. I had a really good experience with Bostik Vivid grout, but Bostik TruColor is the worst grout I ever worked!

Superior Grout

This stuff is really easy to apply if you follow the directions. I'll caution you to make sure you change your water often while applying or you will have a haze that takes hard work to get off. Overall, I did 17sf in a bathroom with 2inch hex tiles in about 30 minutes, plus another 30ish minutes the next day to clean the haze off the tile since I didn't change the water. Time will tell on longevity, but overall, the color is spot on, the application is super easy, and it's the only grout I'll be using going forward. 4 out 5 due to the often needed water changes, and cleaning hard set haze.

Can I use this in a normal shower? I bought the silver 30851168

Bostik TruColor RapidCure is not recommended for areas that can be submerged in waters such as showers, hot tubs, steam showers, etc.

I used this on a large format floor tile with 1/8 grout lines. When I came back the next day i could see footprints on the tile. I tried to get them off but they wont come off. Im afraid I may have sealed the footprint on the tile with the grout or the sealer in the grout. How can I get the tile clean, and the footprints gone?

According to Bostik's technical team they recommend a product called TexSpar Plus. This is a dry powder that is mixed into a paste to be used as a micro-polishing compound. This product can be purchased directly on our website.

When I opened my bucket the material looked separated? Is this a bad batch?

It is common for the TruColor colored aggregate (sand) to separate and settle in the pail from the urethane binder. It is necessary to re-introduce (mix) the urethane back into the colored aggregate. The grout can be applied once it is mixed thoroughly.

Can you use it in a steam shower?

Bostik TruColor RapidCure is not for use in hot tubs, steam showers, or areas to be submerged in water (such as pools, fountains or water features).

How does this do with Carrara marble tile?
