Ordering

  • We accept domestic Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover Card & Pay-Pal
  • Contact us to confirm item availability and transit time
  • Same day shipping is available depending on the time of order receipt and item availability
  • Products may ship from different locations at different times
  • Use the Contractors Direct product code or manufacturer part number (MPN) when ordering
  • Product pricing is subject to change
  • Online orders placed after business hours (9am to 5pm EST, Monday to Friday) or over the weekend will be processed the following business day

Shipping From Contractors Direct

  • We will ship stock items on the same day whenever possible. Dropship orders may require 24 hour minimum processing.

Freight Shipments

  • Some items must be shipped by truck to a commercially zoned address withtruck access and a loading dock or forklift on site
  • Transit times may be longer than a standard shipment
  • Refusal of delivery or providing inaccurate delivery information may result in additional delays and shipping fees
  • Inspection required upon freight delivery. **Note any irregularities or concerns on the paperwork**

International Shipments

Lost or Damaged item?

  • For lost shipments, please wait 3 days after the maximum estimated delivery date or until the tracking status is marked as delivered to file for a refund or reshipment. Please contact us at 1-800-709-0002 and wait 48 hours for refund to be processed or for item to be reshiped
  • Items that are damaged/defective please contact our customer service team right away to report any issues. Items damaged due to shipping must be reported within 3 business days. Upon investigation a customer service rep will issue a full refund or reshipment

Stolen Shipments

  • Contractors Direct is not responsible for stolen packages. Once the carrier completes the shipment, it becomes the responsibility of the homeowner/renter.
  • The shipper can attempt to file a claim on the customer's behalf, but there is no guarantee of recovery or acceptance of the said claim.
  • Contractors Direct urges customers who experienced theft to contact their local police department to file a claim and/or contact their credit card company to see if insurance will cover their missing package.

Billing & Refunds

  • We reserve the right to verify and authenticate billing information
  • Payment method authorization occurs with every order submission
  • Orders paid via PayPal may be billed before product shipment
  • Shipping fees are billed upon order fulfillment
  • Refunds require approximately 48 hours of bank processing to be shown in your account
  • Prices are shown in US dollars
  • Payments must be made in US dollars
  • Orders & returns outside of 6 months from the purchase are not eligible for a refund. A credit can be issued to the customers account at the discretion of the customer service representative or manager. **If a return is created within the 6 month window and received back at Contractors Direct AFTER 6 month window the policy applies to a store credit.**
  • Check refunds may take up to 3-5 weeks to process and be delivered.

Warranties & Returns

Warranty

  • Contractors Direct does not offer any warranty on machines, parts, tools, etc.
  • Product warranties are covered by the respective manufacturer only.
  • *Most* manufacturers offer a one-year warranty cover manufacturing defects Please contact Customer Service prior to purchasing about a specific warranty offered by the manufactuer.
  • The warranty process may require that the item be sent to the manufacturer or a certified service center for inspection.
  • Warranty claims must be filed by the customer directly with the manufacturer in some cases.
  • Contractors Direct is not liable for any warranty claims denied by the manufactuer.
  • Contractors Direct is also not liable for any fees, charges, expenses, cost the customer may experince when a warranty is filed.

Returns

If you want to return any items from your order with Contractors Direct, please contact us to have a Return Authorization number generated. When you return an item, we generally offer a refund or store credit based upon condition of the item, when the original order was placed, and how the item was purchased.


Reconditioned / Refurbished items: All sales are final. Not eligible for standard returns


Freight Returns

Customers returning items that go Freight are responsible for the packaging and protection of the freighted item to meet LTL guidelines. For assistance or help understanding the guidelines please contact customer service


Returns with Affirm


If you checked out with Affirm and would like to return an item, you will need to call Contractors Direct upon return process and provide a Credit Card to store on file for a restock fee if applicable. Once a card is stored on file Contractors Direct will issue a return label.


***Engine powered equipment cannot be returned once it has been gassed or oiled due to federal shipping regulations. If the product has been gassed or oiled, it needs to be taken to an authorized service center for repair which may be covered under warranty.

Terms:

  • All returns require a Return Authorization number
  • Please contact Contractors Direct prior to returning any item to ensure quick and accurate processing
  • Customers are responsible for securely packaging and shipping the return
  • Return shipping labels can be provided at cost through one of our shipping accounts if requested
  • Returns to Contractors Direct are to be processed within 48 business hours of receipt and inspection
  • Standard return window is 60 days from receipt of the order
  • Return shipping costs are the customers responsibility unless the return is due to an error by Contractors Direct.
  • Customers are responsible for all charges when opting to use their own shipping account/label on returns.
  • A minimum 15% restocking fee may be applied to returns requested more than 30 days after product receipt.
  • A minimum 20% restocking fee will be applied to returns for tile products.

Store credit refunds may be an option in lieu of a restocking fee when applicable.

Contractors Direct has created a grading system to help determine the quality of the item being returned. This chart will help you understand the policies and procedures we have set in place to help you get the correct refund.

  • Special or custom-order items are not eligible for return or refund once the order is submitted
