I have a dewalt 2400 and am thinking of buying one of these. I do a lot of stone work and the 2400 blade does not lift up far enough for some stone I use as I like to score the back and break the stone. Does the 3600 lift further back? Or further up I should say.

The D36000S and the D24000S both have the same height clearance. There won't be a difference in the height of the blade.

Overall very good.

It's got all the benefits of the previous model plus a couple new ones. It breaks down to manageable pieces and isn't too difficult to transport, but the addition of a wheeled system would be great as an option. If you need anything bigger than a rail saw would be what you'd need. It's a little heavy. If I were older I may not buy it because of that. Then I'd definitely get a tile saw with a wheeled system.
Compact but large

Been using many of the D24000's for years. Great saws. This D36000 is the big brother! It is everything the D24000 is, just bigger. If you are going to be doing large Format Tile, this is the saw to get.The 18" throat is great to be able to get those difficult cuts done without needing to cut upside down or way off the table. The cart has two stops for 24/36/or lock which is nice. The water tray system is a little flimsy, but this is a large saw. The heavy duty pump is an upgrade and there is a hold down for the pump when moving the saw. So far it has been a solid, accurate, and true tool. No regrets pulling the trigger on this one!
Thanks Dewalt for another great product!

Ive have used the 24000 Dewalt tile saws for years. I bought the 36000s and have been using it for close to 6 months now. It is by far the Best wet saw ive ever used for larger size tile. The extended opening on the left side is my favorite upgrade from the 24000. 24” tile on diagonal is no problem. It definitely makes my life a little easier. Even when using smaller format tiles the larger trays and tables with the rear splash guard really keeps the overspray under control.
Awesome
