Product says to use with HydroBarrier but can it be used with Hydroban?

Yes this can be used with Hydroban in place of the hydrobarrier
Contractor wants to use this on roof valleys, sandwiched between Tremco's Vulkem primer, base and sealer in Hurricane prone area where flashing has not stood up to high winds.

i used with hydro barrier and it worked great. you put it on the cement board and then applied the two surfaces together, apply a coat of hydro barrier over the fabric and seal it off with a final coat
