Rubi Delta Leveling System Wedges

The Delta Leveling System wedges by Rubi work in conjunction with the leveling clips to create optimum pressure exerted on the tiles, obtaining a perfect tile leveling surface. This creates a homogeneous final flatness for the entire surface being leveled.

• Ideal for use with large format tiles - minimum size required 12" x 12"
• Works with tile thickness of 1/8"-1/2", 1/4"-9/16" or 7/16"-13/16", depending on the Delta Leveling System clips you are using
• Prevents the movement of tile when the adhesive is setting and improves the resulting surface flatness
• Easily removed after the adhesive has set by either kicking or using a rubber mallet to knock out the clip/wedges

How to Install Tile with the Delta Leveling System

• Step 1: Spread your tile adhesive and lay the tile. Place Rubi Delta clips underneath the tile slightly back from the edge. Keep the clip firm against the tile as the clip acts as a spacer
• Step 2: Set the adjacent tile firmly into the adhesive. Butt the tile against the Delta clip giving the 1/32" joint (if a larger joint is required spacers can be used, or set the required joint size). Slide the Delta wedges through the clips until they are firmly leveling both tiles
• Step 3: Using your thumb, push the Delta wedge with the right amount of pressure required to create the perfect finish. If you need more pressure on the tile, use the Delta Leveling Pliers. Once the tiles are locked in position this is how they will stay until the adhesive sets. You can still slightly adjust the joint width while the adhesive is setting if needed without disrupting the height of the tiles
• Step 4: After the adhesive has set, you can remove the wedges and clips easily with a rubber mallet on the walls and by mallet or your foot on the floor. Hit the clip on its side in the direction of the tile joint and the wedge and clip will dislodge from the tile at the breakpoint below the tile, leaving the joint free for grouting or silicone expansion
