Does cutting tile create a lot of dust?

Tile cutting tools, but they make a lot of dust, which isn't safe. Wearing a silica dust respirator helps keep dust out of lungs. But there's a better way to maintain clean work areas: IQ Tools vacuums. An investment that is well worth it.

I wish I bought this sooner

Definitely worth the cost. I was hesitant, but I'm in the middle of tiling an entire first floor in wood look plank porcelain tile in a herringbone pattern. There are lots of cuts and some trickier than others. I tried the large Italian made manual cutter, along with a wet saw. This saw blows them both away. The ease and less mess are so worth the cost. It works just as well as a wet saw, without the setup and messy clean up. Plus I don't have to be concerned about the cold and windy Chicago weather like I would with the wet saw outside. Like a wet saw, there are chips of tile that go flying here and there, so wear your safety glasses. But only a broom and dry rag for clean up!! I cannot say enough good about this saw!!
