The Revolution blades are very similar to the solid 10" diameter blades you will find on most wet saws. The difference is that our blades have no center, giving you the ability to not only cut straight lines but also make tight radius cuts. Because we run our blades at a much slower R.P.M. than the average wet saw but with far more torque, they give the user a much higher quality cut with far less chipping and in some cases superior blade life.
Questions & Answers (10)
Do you offer Gemini Revolution XT Saws suitable for 230V power supply ?
These Gemini saws are made for 110V power supply.
Where is the water pump?
There is no pump with a ring saw. Because the belt that drives the blade also picks up and delivers water to the cut, there is no need for one.
What is a Ring Saw?
A Ring Saw is a unique, patented saw, combining the best qualities of a band saw and radial saw.
How can diamond blades cut hard materials but do not cut skin?
Skin bounces off of the diamond's riding over the bumps, but hard materials can not bounce so they get cut. This does not pertain to fingernails or callouses.
What is the difference between a Ring Saw and a band saw?
Ring Saw's spin in a perfect circle and cut in all directions. Band saws travel in an ellipse, can cut basically forward like a polliwog travels.
What is the difference between a Ring Saw and a reciprocating saw?
Ring Saws cut while spinning in a perfect circle, so there is little or no vibration while cutting. Jig saws vibrate cut on the up stroke causing delicate pieces to break and wear out much more quickly than Ring Saws.
Do I have to use water with my Ring Saw?
Always use water.
When should I replace my wear parts?
The average life of the drive belt is two to three blades.
What is the warranty policy for the Gemini Revolution XT Tile Saw?
Gemini Saw Company, Inc warrants the Gemini Revolution XT Tile Saw and all of its component parts to be free of defects in materials or workmanship. All of these components except wear parts* are under warranty for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
Note: Wear Parts include Blades, Bearings, Drive Belt, and Grommets.
I work with glass and would want to minimize/eliminate chipping. Are there different grits for the saw blade similar to my grinder bits?
Glass blades are specifically made for cutting glass. The difference is in the bonding process. The matrix bond that adheres the diamonds to the metal blade are different than those of a standard stone cutting blade as well as the amount and pattern of the diamonds on the blade. Cutting glass is a slow process, as you need to let the blade do the work. If the material is forced through the blade then the glass will chip / break. SKU 1055 and 1056 are glass blades for the Revolution Tile Saw.
