Schluter DITRA-HEAT-E-HK 120 Volt Heating Cable

Schluter DITRA-HEAT-E-HK are twisted pair heating cables designed for integration with the DITRA-HEAT uncoupling membrane in interior floor warming applications.

Features

  • Provides electric floor warming for use beneath tile, stone, or other resilient floor coverings
    (e.g. LVT)
  • Cables snap into the membrane; clips and fasteners are not required
  • No self-levelers required to encapsulate the cables; installation time significantly reduced
  • No return to thermostat required
  • Produces virtually zero electromagnetic fields

Does DITRA-HEAT need a dedicated circuit?

A dedicated circuit is required.Select either 120V or 240V heating cable according to power supply.


Can I cut the thermostat wire on DITRA-HEAT?

Never CUT the heating cable. This could change the cable resistance and could lead to a fire. WARRANTY DISClAIMER: Damage to the DITRA-HEAT-E-HK heating cables voids the Schluter®-DITRA-HEAT 10-Year limited Warranty

Does a sensor wire come with the heating cable?

Yes, a sensor does come with the cable. A sensor is also provided with the Schluter thermostats as well.

Works great. I only wish I had known that the cable came with 2 thermostat sensors. I knew one was included with the thermostat so I purchased a backup sensor. Now I have 2 I don't need!

Good floor warming cable, easy to install.

Another decent product from Schluter Ditra line. Make sure that your length estimates are correct - you can't shorten the cable.
