Questions & Answers
4 questions

How often should I use this dressing stone?

A blade should be dressed every 60 linear feet of cutting, You may need to dress more or less frequently depending on the material being cut.

I engrave fine crystal with any design using diamond wheels. The edge of my wheels are dull. What is the best way to sharpen them?

The best way to dress a diamond wheel is to gently press a dressing stone against the edge of the wheel while it is in operation (spinning). Consider using a Solid Gold Dressing Stone for faster and more precise results.

Is this the correct dressing stone for a glass tile blade?

You can use this dressing stone on diamond blades for glass.

My wet saw does not raise and lower blade, how can I dress a diamond blade without making shallow cuts first?

You only need to run the diamond matrix (rim of blade) into the dressing stone to rejuvenate it. You can put the resin dressing stone on your cutting table just like a piece of tile or stone you are cutting and cut the resin dressing stone up to the rim of your blade.

A Needed Addition

by Cathie -

We had bought this item to bring back the precision of our diamond cutting blades. A must have, it will add additional time to a very tired blade.

GO BLUE OR GO HOME

by Delta 9 Glass -

I have a Gemini XT saw and I cut ALOT of Borosilicate glass in my production. I use to use the ordinary white dressing sticks. But since I started to using the TRUE BLUE my cuts are coming out CLEANER and more PRECISE. A MUST HAVE!

Good Dressing Stone

by TZ -

This dressing stone works great. Cleans up the diamonds on your wet saw blade for better cutting. Once the diamonds on the blade get glazed over and worn, this dressing stone renews the diamonds for better/cleaner cutting.

It really works.

by Pat -

Excellent tool. A half dozen thin slices slowly through the blue block and my Porcelein is getting cut easily again, no more wandering blade or resistance. I strongly recommend these things.

They work great.

by Joe -

I've used these for many years. They work great. My only complaint is that they are half the size they were last time I bought them!!! Could the manufacturing cost have gone up that much ?? Also it took longer than usual to get my items this time! Great stone but not a great deal this time around
