GoBoard Pro Sealant 10.3oz tube

GoBoard Sealant is a hybrid sealant and adhesive that is moisture curing, permanently elastic and provides superior adhesion to GoBoard and other common building materials. Use GoBoard Sealant to waterproof GoBoard joints and fastener penetrations and adhere GoBoard to itself and other building materials that makes it perfect for installing shower niches, and benches.

Can you paint this sealant, if so what kind of paint?

This sealant can be painted, and the only requirement or recommendation is that the paint has water resistant properties.

What is recommended for clean up of hands and tools

The manufacturer recommends not letting it cure on your hands and to wipe hands with a paper towel before it cures. Soap and water may help, wiping before it cures is #1 recommendation or wear gloves.

Can laticrete hydroban waterproof membrane be applied over the top of this sealant?

Yes, the Hydroban Waterproof Membrane can be used over the top of the Go Board Pro Sealant.

can you use this product to adhere goboard to concrete basement floor ?

Yes, this will bond to concrete. Please make sure concrete is clean, dry, and free from of contaminants. Remove all coatings and sealers before application.

Can Kerdi Band be used to seal the seams of Goboard?

The GoBoard Pro Sealant is designed to waterproof GoBoard joints. Using another brand product may void any warranty.

Great product

Very good product. I tried the Schluter shower version which is much more difficult. The Goboard sealer is easy to use and very effective.
