My motor for my Mk 770 tile saw works although the gears seem to be worn out and slip. Are there replacement parts available?

The complete MK Motor for MK-270, MK-370, 470, 370EXP, 770, 770EXP tile saws must be purchased. Parts for the motor are not available.
I bought this for my son for his MK-770. The original saw is held in place by bolts that attach to the motor itself. There are no bolt holes in this motor. Is there some additional part that is required to fit this motor to the frame?

This motor can only fit on MK 770s produced in 2005 or later.
m-k replacement motor for model 770

very capable motor; easy to work on for repairs; design of gear head is inferior, needs a dust filter to protect the interior of the motor for longer life. best motor that m-k has available to date..
I WOULD BUY FROM CONTRACTORS DIRECT AGAI

Bought this replacement for my 770EXP. Love this saw. Lost everything in Hurricane Ike except for this saw. Tore up everything else but this saw. Motor even ran for a few days till the salt water it was submerged in corroded it. Was amazed how well it held up, still cuts straight and true. Love this saw! Durable and light weight! Only had to replace the motor!

I wore out my "little" saw by using it so much because of the convenience of it's lighter weight. So when the moter gave out I tried to find replacement parts. No luck! But the price on the replacement isn't too bad considering buying a new one! Just be careful about the replacement screws. After years of usage, they may not want to let go and you can round them out if not careful.
Great replacement motor.

Motor works fine on my MK 770 tile saw. Would of gave it a five star rating, if it wasn't made in China!
