My "New" Dewalt saw shows some signs of use on the carriage tray but the rest of the saw looks new, did I get a returned saw?

We only sell new Dewalt tile saws we do not offer used or reconditioned Dewalt tools, we have brought up the issue of the carriage tray with Dewalt and these "scuff" marks happen during production of the rubber top.
Help, my blade is touching the tray on my Dewalt Tile Saw.

The adjustment screw on the back of the Dewalt D24000 tile saw will prevent the blade from touching the tray when changing from 45 degree miter cuts to 0 degree cuts.

Heavy Duty, Built to Last

First impressions. This sucker is HEAVY. Built like a tank, once assembled, it is a very good looking, sturdy, and fast saw. First job I used it on it was perfect. I used it on a tile plank floor project. The cuts were straight and clean, very easy, didn't even need to push, it just makes great cuts. Since I was using planks I learned a valuable lesson. Purchase the RodKat kit to go with the saw. Contractors Direct RodKat kit allows you to make rip cuts on the table saw when using plank tile. I didn't understand how it worked until I realized I would have to RIP planks and then I understood how the RodKat device worked. You live, you learn, but the floor project turned out great. As a side note. Maybe someone can figure out how to attach a collapsible wheeled stand to the saw and save my back. Looking at you DeWalt or Contractors Direct.

These guys knock it out of the park every time. I have only been doing business with them for a couple months and I can tell you, they are all over keeping customers happy. Delivery is super fast and exactly as stated on the website.
I have been using a smaller 7” saw for years and finally pulled the trigger on this “bad boy”. I’ve been looking at it for a while now. Took about 30 minutes to put together with no issues. Cuts like a dream. We are a remodeling company, so we usually do smaller projects and this fits the bill. If your on the fence about this saw, don’t wait. You won’t be disappointed.
