saw seems to be fairly powerful and cuts well however, bearings are not very tight the blade has about a 1/32 ' of play I also found that the base plate is not very well attachted to the motor one flimsy rivet. when the base is in the upright positionthere is excessive side play between base plate and motor also felt that the guide bar was poorly designed and poorly constructed extension arms are out of square and to flimsy allowing flex of the guide also difficult to align properly in parallel with the blade

I bought this saw to cut Granite slabs for counter tops. went to use it today and it didn't work! the motor wouldn't start! I had to take it a part and found a wire that was not hooked up. I hooked up the wire and then it worked fine. but I spent 1 1/2 hours wasted to get it to work in the first place. If I would have had to send it back I would not have have the same product. Now that it is working it cuts well.
