The brand new TZ tile cutters from Rubi Tools is the latest innovation in manual tile cutting. Designed from the ground up, and featuring a patented new breaker mechanism, this cutter delivers an industry leading breaking power of 3,306 lbs. This power, in combination with an adjustable cutting depth, can cut porcelain tile up to 13/16 inch thick (** Please note that thick material has a higher likelihood of an unclean break). Each board provides enough leverage and balance for one handed operation at times. There are four sizes available.

Is the rip gauge cm or inches?

The rip guide has both standard and metric measurement markings

Does this come with a carrying case?

Yes, the TZ tile cutters will come with a soft carrying case, pictured above.

Will this cut glass tile and mosaic?

This tile cutter is not recommended for cutting glass tile or mosaics.

How does this cutter do when working with smaller (3" x 6") subway tiles? Do you get a good clean cut that is visible when installed?

If you use an 8 mm scoring wheel, you could cut 3" x 6" subway tile with a clean finish, however, it is recommended to use a different tile cutter for subway tile such as the Rubi Speed Magnet series tile cutters.
