Crain Metal Miter Die Sets This interchangeable Metal Mitre die sets are designed for mitering corner shapes in heavier cap metals, such as carpet cap or wall board cap. It can be used on any Metal Mitre handle to punch out the 90° notches necessary to form a corner.

M900- This metal miter die set has a .135″ punch for mitering corner shapes in heavier cap metals, such as carpet cap or wall board cap. This punch is too thick to enter the narrow channels of laminate and vinyl cap metals.
M900GS- This metal miter die set only has a relieved .090″ thick punch for mitering corner shapes in most vinyl and carpet cap metals. For 3/32" and larger cap strip as the front tip of the full thickness punch has been cut away to allow general mitering of channel and cap strip mouldings. Throat depth is 1".
M900GSS- This metal miter die set only has a slender .050″ thick punch for mitering corner shapes in most vinyl and laminate cap metals with at least at 1/16” opening.
