The 8" Professional Masonry Dressing Stone from iQ Power Tools is a solid block constructed from a combination of hard abrasives. The abrasives expose fresh diamonds and sharpen the blade when they are sliced through by a diamond blade. A diamond blade's life must be maintained through regular dressing. Dressing the blade will get rid of buildup on the segments after several cuts or while switching between different materials. Your blade may cut quicker and sharper without straining the saw motor by exposing new diamonds.
