I am really interested in the Gemini Apollo Saw but confused a bit about some of the blades I would need. What approximate thickness of glass will the blades I listed below cut? I do fused glass and my pieces can vary from 2mm-12mm.

You will always want a "fine" blade when cutting glass.

Both style of blade can cut a variety of material thicknesses. The rigid blade is ideal for straight cutting while the double-sided blade is ideal for curve cutting and reverse cutting.

Why does my belt keep cutting in half? I replaced the belt because it was in two pieces cut down the groove. The new belt only lasted through about 10 cuts. What am I doing wrong?

The belt of the Apollo can prematurely break if pieces of material get stuck within the belt-drive system. Gemini offers a filter to minimize the amount of debris that enters the drive system.

I’m having problems with the adhesive backed felt that cushions the sliding tray at the front of the saw. The felt separated from the inverted V track and I haven’t been able to get it to stick and that affects the tray’s ability to slide smoothly. I don’t see the adhesive backed felt as a purchase option. Any help?

The Wire Blade Cartridges appears to have 6 and another has 5 Orange-Gromets: are these for the different Wire-Blades you can buy from Gemini-Saw? Also some of the Wire-Blade Cartridges have Clear-Gromets. Do the Wire-Cartridges take the Speed and Mega Blades?

The wired cartridge takes the standard, slim and dicrotic blades with the clear grommets while the slicer cartridge has 8 red grommets and 2 green grommets that belong to the slicer, mega and speed blades.

The flat sintered standard has 5 grommets but the one you have is probably an older model.

Currently there is no longer the 5 wheel grommets that used to be the 3 on the bottom and 2 on top. They are now sold as 4 on the bottom and 4 on the top for a total of 8 grommets.
