Better than great

by Andy

I lied it so much I bought the 17” version the next day to replace and old Rubi TS 40. The 17” is still to big for smaller tile but works awesome on 12x12s. I finished out my collection with the 17” mini version to replace the old Rubi I had been using for years
Anyway these things cut amazing.
Items shipped within the day of ordering and showed up earlier then expected.
Totally awesome experience between the product and customer service

Awesome tool. For how much it is you think it would have a case. Hard to store but works awesome.

Repurposed pull arm design.

by AdamDor -

This review is for 24” cutter.
The machine cuts and brakes very well.
The movable measuring arm is useless if you are right handed. Let’s say your cut is 22”. If you standing on the left side, you have to lean over the machine just to see the numbers. The 22” part of the tile is not supported enough. In my tryout the tile broke before I finished scoring, so I end up holding the bigger cut in my left hand and using the tape for measuring.
I think Montolit would be better off making the arm much shorter or moving it to the left. In the current configuration it’s a useless piece of metal easy to bend in your truck.

Regret waiting so long.

by Sherry

I love my cutter. I purchased the 29 inche version because so many of my customers started using 12 x 24 inch tile and 6 x 24 inch tile. I should have gotten years ago. It saves so much time. It cuts square and clean. It is so great. It is bulky and takes some room to use. Working in the confines of a small bathroom or shower can be cumbersome. But the cutter is so great my solution was to get a smaller one to use next to me. Then use my big one in another area for long rips. I have no regrets, and it cuts so much better than my old box store cutter. They will cut a much more narrow rip without the need fornthe water saw.
