Raimondi Tile Leveling System 1/16" Regular Clear Clips

Using the Raimondi Leveling System helps contractors, professional floor installers, and DIY installers alike achieve a seamless tile installation. This system aids in the installation of tile working as both a grout joint spacer and a tile leveler.

Features

 • Greatly improves the overall quality of your tile project
 • Both installation and removal of the spacers are quick and easy!
 • Works well with both wall and floor projects!
 • Tiles are pushed into the thinset. (If the tile appears to pull up then your substrate may be uneven)
 • Rather than worrying about voids and coverage, RLS spacers further enhance your thinset adhesion to your tiles!
 • Leveling systems are not designed to compensate for un-level substrates

Technical Data

 • Use on 1/8" to 1/2" thick tile
 • Minimum joint size: 1/16" (1.5mm)
 • Maximum joint size: 1/8" (3mm)
 • Wedge size: 3-1/2" L x 3/4" W

How to use

 • STEP 1: After spreading your tile adhesive, insert leveling spacer underneath the tiles along the 4 sides, use traditional spacers as you normally would to square up the corners. For larger tiles, it may be necessary to "double up", using 2 leveling spacers for each side
 • STEP 2: Set the tile and beat it with a rubber mallet
 • STEP 3: Use the special traction-adjustable pliers to insert the wedge into the leveling spacers, paying attention not to pass the breakpoint
 • STEP 4: Once the tile adhesive has been allowed to set. Remove the leveling spacers with the traction-adjustable pliers, rubber mallet, or kicking them out with your feet

Raimondi Clips

by

Clips install easily, very few have snapped while tightening( which is a bit of a pita), and some(again very few) don't break off right leaving a small piece of the clip sticking out of the grout joint. All in all an excellent product.

Great clips NOT 1/16

by

These are great for installing tie and getting professional results without years of experience. The only issues with them are that the joints end up being larger than 1/16 and also inconsistent because thinset gets in and you cant clean it out without removing the tile. Therefore I use 1/8 spacers at a minimum when using these clips. Also when tightening down the wedge it tends to spread the tiles apart. To avoid this you have to be careful to keep one hand on the opposite end of the tile to prevent the joint from opening up.

Awesome

I love perfect floors and never minded popping a tile several times to add or remove thinset and get it to sit just right. Then I used these leveling spacers on a 24x48 tile. A perfect floor but this time I did not pull up a single tile to get it so. Much faster. Of course the floor must be in great shape before underlayment is placed, strengthened and leveled or put on a common plane, etc... Now I just use plenty of loose thinset, back butter my tiles and add a small spot to each corner, set and level with these spacers and it's done.

Another thing I love about these spacers is they lock a floor in place so well that it can be walked on immediately. A homeowner and designer needed to walk on a floor I was setting and I let them just to see what would happen. Nothing happened. The tiles didn't budge or shift and no lippage developed. I ended up working on top of tiles a just set in order to get all of it in that same day. 36x36 tiles.
