Questions & Answers
4 questions

Can I buy an extra floor temperature sensor to install in case the primary sensor ever fails? Or does the Strata Heat wire also come with a floor temperature sensor?

Hello the thermostat and wire both include a floor sensor, no extra sensor can be purchased at this time

My current Strata Heat Thermostat (year 2004) has connection slots to acco ondate 4 wires (2 black and 2 white) plus the sensor wire. Does this thermostat have the same capability?

These thermostats have the same wire configuration. However the wires on the current Strata Heat Thermostats are black and red.

Hi i was wondering can you hook up 2 different floor wires to one thermostat ?

As long as they do not total more than 15 amps then yes you can hook up 2 lead wires to 1 thermostat

My floor sensor is erratic. Today it is reading 109F but should be reading 60-65F. I have adjusted resistance settings and that isn’t helping. Can I add another probe?

Awesome no frills thermostat with clear display.

Easy install. A little tight in a single gang box for all the wiring. I may try to do the next one with a double box as I think this will work easier. Single will work, but you really gotta cram the wiring in there.
