I tried to use a carbide (2) bit and got nowhere. This bit was incredible!

Great Drill Bit

by Roger -

I bought the 1 3/8" Dewalt diamond drill bit for drilling holes in my porcelain tile shower installation. It worked great. I drilled 7 holes in grade 5 porcelain tiles with no problems. I placed the tile in a tray. Then filled the tray with water so the tile was about 1/2 inch underwater. Then I put the drill bit on the tile so that both the drill bit and tile were completely underwater. I was using 18 inch tiles - so I ended up using one of those trays sold by Home Depot for mixing batches of cement. It was the only container I could find that would hold an 18 inch tile underwater. Its a great drill bit !!

This really works!

by Gary Watkins -

I followed the directions and used a misting bottle for water and the bit worked better and faster than I expected.
