Worth the expense to save a little time and some headaches. Allows the flexibility to move around if your still finalizing how you want to lay out your tile and fixtures. Very easy to install and keeps things accurate when tiling.

There should be a definite bottom to this recess mold. The drain bevel is almost too steep to set a tall shampoo bottle on. I suggest altering the bevel to 2-3 degrees on one surface and call that the bottom.
