This excellent tool saved me a bundle in remodeling our master bath. The job entailed cutting tile,backerboard, and marble. It would have been a bargain at twice the price. It cuts well with no forcing, and tracks accurately. Felker 4" Dry Saw, 12/29/2009

I used this saw to cut backer board and tile. It lasted two months and locked up. I liked the saw but it did not hold up., 12/29/2009

I liked not having the dust when cutting cement board siding, it,s light and small easy to use cuts nice lines, but the motor did not hold up.
I have never been satisfied with shears so it seemed like a good idea. I would however try it again if you sent me another one.
