Do you charge sales tax?
In the state of Connecticut we charge 6% sales tax. Some items shipped direct from MK Diamond to California will be subject to 7.25% sales tax.
How Do I Get a Copy of a Sales Order and Tracking Information?
Click on My Account and sign in. Once inside, click on See Orders to see your complete order history. Here you can print sales orders & view tracking information.
What is Contractors Direct Return Policy?
Product warranties are covered by manufacturers through a certified service center. Our policy is and has always been to satisfy every customer, if you are not satisfied with any item purchased from us, you may return it, within 30 days, with a copy of the invoice/packing slip for refund or credit.
- All returns must have a return authorization number. Please call us prior to returning any item. Return Authorization numbers are only valid for 10 business days.
- Notifiy us within 48 hours of receipt of shipment of any damaged or defective merchandise.
- Items returned for other than damage or defect must be in saleable condition in the original packaging.
- Factory drop ship items are subject to a 15% return charge.
- Special order items can not be returned.

What are my shipping cost?
A $9.75 shipping charge applies for all orders. Additional charges apply to certain items including those that are heavy or oversized. Items marked as free shipping will not be charged shipping.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We ship most items UPS ground from our CT warehouse. For approx shipping time click here

My business is in my home, is this a commercial address?
No, a commercial address is an address in a commercial zone, with a loading dock or forklift, open Monday thru Friday during normal business hours. If you can't secure a commercial address for your delivery, our experienced staff will arrange a pick-up at a terminal closest to your location.
What if my package arrives damaged or missing items?
1. If items are missing and there does not seem to be any damage to box please call Contractors Direct as soon as possible
2. UPS claims must be put in within 2 business days of receiving the item. Please inspect merchandise upon arrival
3. Items that are received by tractor trailer must be inspected before they are signed for. Please note any irregularities on the bill of lading - Holes in cartons, dents, tears, etc. This information must be noted on the bill of lading when you are accepting the delivery. If you sign for a package and DO NOT note any irregularities there is little Contractors Direct or the manufacturer can do. If you open the package and there is hidden damage you have 15 days to contact the delivering Freight Line. And please also retain the original containers and packing for the inspectors. If severe damage is present please refuse shipment and call 800-709-0002
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship internationally. Place the order online and we will contact you with shipping costs. You can also call 001 203 882 1650 or email us orders@contractorsdirect.com for shipping costs. If you are located in the EU or the UK we also have a European site CDeuro.com. Here we have a large selection of tile tools with free shipping to the UK & most of the EU.
Am I responsible for customs duties and taxes?
Yes, you are responsible for paying the duties, taxes, & customs fees associated with the shipment. Please check with your local post office for more information.
