Question & Answers

I have a job installing 80mm pavers 6-9 in and 6-6 in I'm interested in purchasing the 6550 my 2000 series saw what is the best blade to use for cutting these pavers and should they be wet cut or dry ? I noticed one blade was labeled dry cut also how much use will I get from a blade I will also be purchasing extra blades so I would like for the free blade included in the purchase of the saw to be the same

Thank you for contacting Contractors Direct.

What type of paver are you cutting (slate, travertine)? You can use a wet or dry blade. Wet blades typically last longer and reduce dust when cutting making for a safer work environment.

Blade manufacturers do not provides specs on blade longevity due to the numerous factors involved.

The saw is a very capable commercial product. The stand that was sent was inadequate for the weight if the saw. The stand also did not fit the saw properly, may have been the wrong stand.
